Members at Prestonwood Country Club enjoy the widest array of golf amenities and services in the Triangle. Our 54 holes of championship golf offer both bentgrass and Champion bermudagrass greens, providing ideal playing conditions year-round. Courses

Our courses, originally designed by golf course architect Tom Jackson, offer golfers of all skill levels a challenging round. All three of our 18-hole championship courses are featured in the top 100 courses in North Carolina, as rated by the NC Golf Panel. Members have the unique option to play both champion bermudagrass greens (Meadows & Highlands) and bentgrass greens (Fairways).

Associations

Men, Senior Men (55+), and Ladies each have associations that feature designated weekly play days, social events, and tournaments. Golfers of all skill levels are invited to participate in the camaraderie and friendly competition throughout the year.

Junior Golf

We're on a mission to grow the game of golf among our youngest members! Prestonwood has a rich tradition of fun, competitive junior golf programming that has helped to produce many great high school and collegiate golfers. Weekly classes, summer camps, tournaments, and PGA Junior League are included in the numerous opportunites available to our juniors.

Family Tees
Our Fairways course features PGA Family Tees, providing a shorter, par-3 experience for beginners, youth, and families wishing to experience the game together.

Instruction

Everyone who has ever picked up a golf club has been humbled by the game at some point. Our team of PGA Professionals can help you improve your game and experience those humbling moments less often. The Learning Center at Prestonwood provides the perfect venue for one-on-one lessons, instructional clinics, and expert club fitting services. Using TrackMan, SAM PuttLab, BalanceLab, and other teaching technologies, your instructor can analyze every aspect of your game and work with you to make sure the fun outweighs the frustration.

The SAS Championship

Celebrating 20 Years

Each October Prestonwood has the privilege of hosting the SAS Championship, an official PGA TOUR Champions Tour event. The top golfers in the world over age 50 make their way to Cary, NC to compete for a $2.1 million purse and nationally televised glory. Prestonwood members receive complimentary tickets and are encouraged to bring friends along to this family-friendly experience. Unique volunteer opportunities exist for those who prefer to get closer to the action.
